Governance & accountability

Responsible stewardship: how we are led, how we are held to account and how concerns can be raised.

Responsible stewardship

Acting with integrity, safeguarding children and using resources responsibly

ActionReach is committed to being transparent about our purpose, activities, results and limitations, and to learning from feedback and evidence.

Governance information should help donors, partners and communities understand how the organisation is led, how decisions are overseen and how concerns can be raised.

Governance and accountability in practice

The Board of Directors is responsible for strategic oversight, fiduciary stewardship, safeguarding oversight and ensuring that ActionReach remains focused on its mission. Executive leadership is responsible for day-to-day management and implementation. An advisory body, if formally constituted and approved for public description, may provide non-governing technical, strategic, partnership or fundraising advice.

The 2026–2031 plan provides for quarterly progress reporting, independent mid-term and final evaluations, annual review of results and a Year 3 decision on readiness for expansion.

We aim for governance information to be evidence of practice, not just a list of titles. As they are approved for public release, we will publish:

  • Board and leadership profiles.
  • Legal registration details and organisational contact information.
  • Safeguarding policy and reporting channel.
  • Privacy policy and data-handling statement.
  • Feedback and complaints procedure.
  • Annual reports and financial or accountability summaries.
  • Conflict-of-interest, ethics or other governance policies.
Safeguarding

Children’s safety comes first

ActionReach is committed to protecting children from abuse, exploitation, neglect and harm. We expect staff, volunteers and partners to uphold appropriate safeguarding standards. If you have a concern about a child’s safety or about the conduct of anyone connected with our work, please use our safeguarding page. Concerns will be handled sensitively and in line with approved procedures.

Feedback and complaints

Safe, accessible ways to be heard

Children, caregivers, community members, staff and partners should have safe, accessible ways to share feedback or raise a complaint. Find out how to share feedback or make a complaint.
